The fall 2023 Oktubafest begins with a tuba recital featuring Dr. Chris Dickey (tuba), Dr. Fabio Menchetti (piano), and Dr. Jacqueline Wilson (bassoon). Featured works on this program include world premiere performances of Dance-Sonata for Tuba and Piano by brin solomon and Juantio Becenti’s Fantasy for Tuba and Piano. Additional works include music written by Barbara York and Jiri Laburda.
