Cougar-connected wine tasting

0-$10

About the event

Start your Washington State football weekend off right with a Cougar-connected wine tasting and open house at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.

The third wine tasting of the season at the visitor center, located at 150 E. Spring St., features five different wines from WSU alumni wineries.

The visitor center will be open with extended hours Friday and Saturday of the home game weekend to assist fans with any pre-game needs and will include a flash football wine sale featuring 20 percent of select alumni wines. Sale wines will be available while supplies last.

Friday’s tasting will highlight the following five wines: Maryhill Zinfandel, Willow Crest Pinot Gris, Basalt Cellars Rim Rock Red, Woodward Canyon Chardonnay and Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tickets cost $10, include a 1-ounce tasting of each wine and a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass (while supplies last). Each tasting ticket will also act as 20 percent off the purchase of a single bottle of wine. Tasting ticket coupons are not valid with other sale offers.

Tickets are available for purchase beginning at 4 p.m. at the door and are limited to one per person. Participants must be 21 or older with proper identification at the time of ticket purchase. The event is open to all ages. A limited supply of light refreshments will be provided by the visitor center and WSU Dining Services.
