Diversity in Ag: Faces of Plant Science Symposium, March 30

“Diversity in Agriculture: Faces of Plant Science,” the annual WSU Plant Science Symposium, is 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Ensminger Pavilion, WSU Pullman.

Admission is free. Students can win travel scholarships and poster session prizes, and participants will share research with fellow scientists in breeding, genetics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology.

Organized by graduate students in Molecular Plant Sciences and the departments of Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Crop & Soil Sciences, and Entomology, the symposium highlights cultural, gender, research, and professional diversity in the agriculture industry.
