Faculty Artist Series: Oboe: Here and There

About the event

“Oboe: Here and There” is a celebration of traditional and new musics from around the world. The concert will feature performances by Keri E. McCarthy, oboe, Karen Savage and Lark Powers, piano, Javier Rodriguez, bassoon, Ruth Boden, cello, and David Jarvis and Brent Edwards, percussion. Repertoire includes works by Bach and Saint-Saens, as well as music from Burma, Vietnam, and the United States. Come enjoy an evening of diverse masterworks on Friday, October 7, at 8pm in Bryan Hall Theatre on the WSU campus. As part of the WSU Faculty Artist Series, all proceeds benefit the School of Music student scholarships fund.

General Admission: $10   Sr. Citizens & non-WSU Students: $5
WSU Students with ID: FREE
All proceeds from the sales of tickets will benefit the School of Music scholarship fund. Tickets are available in the lobby thirty minutes before concert time.
