Faculty Artist Series – Octubafest, Dr. Chris Dickey, Tuba and Euphonium
About the event
This year’s Oktubafest begins with WSU’s tuba and euphonium professor Chris Dickey performing a faculty recital. This concert will feature original works for euphonium and tuba, including two world premieres of music written by Katahj Copley and Wayne Lu. Funding for these new compositions was generously provided by a WSU New Faculty Seed Grant. Dickey will be joined by piano colleague Fabio Menchetti.
