About the event

Program:

On Friday, October 10, at 7:30pm, the WSU School of Music choral ensembles will present “Hold Fast to Dreams,” a concert exploring the theme of dreams with performances by the WSU Chamber Singers, University Singers, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir. Our choirs will perform works by Carol Barnett, Rollo Dilworth, Susan LaBarr, Felix Mendelssohn, György Orbán, Ashley Eyre, and more! We welcome guest conductor Dr. Julie Yu from Oklahoma City University to lead our combined choir selection “To Sit and Dream” by Rosephanye Powell. The WSU Treble Choir will also premiere Slovenian composer Ambrož Čopi’s “When Wistful Swings Forget to Dream” as part of the 2025 ACDA Soprano-Alto Advanced Choirs Commission Consortium.

This event is free and open to the public. Join us in Bryan Hall Theatre or stream the event on the WSU Pullman Music YouTube channel.
