Fall Choral Concert

The Choirs at WSU’s School of Music will present “Elements: A Choral Concert” on Friday October 25 at 7:30pm in Bryan Hall Theatre on the WSU Pullman campus. The concert is free and open to all.
WSU’s Chamber sIngers, University Singers, Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and combined ensembles will perform. The choirs are conducted by Dean Luethi and Matthew Myers and Elena Panchenko is the collaborative pianist.
Celebrating fire, water, air, and earth, the choirs will perform a wide range of music from renaissance through contemporary. Composers include Thomas Morley, John Conahan, Williametta Spencer, Darius Lim, Reena Esmail, Andris Sējāns, Hugo Wolf, Albreto Grau, and more.
Dr. Coreen Duffy, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Colorado-Boulder, will conduct the world premiere of her composition “Green-Haunted Ground” performed by the combined WSU Choirs.

Allegro aims to excite and inspire through music by partnering with student organizations to provide funding for world-renowned guest artists to perform and work one-on-one with students on the Pullman campus.
