The morning will kick off with a discussion on food security in higher education, highlighting the role of dining services and food waste prevention efforts at WSU. A special announcement will unveil a new partnership with Safeway, furthering our commitment to fighting food insecurity on campus.

Players from the Seattle Seahawks will be in attendance, reinforcing their 50th Season Community Commitment and joining Safeway representatives to discuss their philanthropic initiatives. Following the remarks, attendees will have the opportunity to take photos with the Seahawks players and tour the Cougar Food Pantry to see firsthand how these efforts will support students in need.
