Parking is free during event times to Flu Shot Friday participants in the lot by the Cultural Center west entrance.

About the event

We welcome all students, staff and faculty* to the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center for Flu Shot Friday! Get in before the official start of flu season to better protect yourself and other Cougs. Parking is free for the event, and be sure to bring your insurance info for billing. We hope to see you there!

*We cannot give the flu vaccine to anyone pregnant or under age 18.

Be Prepared

  • Prior to your arrival, check for COVID-19 symptoms like fever, cough, shortness of breath, or headache. If showing any symptoms, please do not attend the event.
  • If you know or think you’ve been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, please do not attend the event.
  • Complete the required attestation via myWSU prior to your arrival. You must show proof that you completed the attestation before entering.
  • Staff will check your temperature at the entrance. If your temperature reads 100.4⁰F or higher, you will be asked to return at a later time.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Stay six feet away from others.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes.
  • Bring your medical insurance information.

Supplies are limited, so we will facilitate vaccinations on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can also make a flu shot appointment by calling Cougar Health Services at 509-335-3575.
