About the event

Countries in the Sahel risk decades of armed conflict and displacement exacerbated by rapidly rising temperatures, resource scarcity, and food insecurity. What can be done to combat these critical issues?

El Hadj Djitteye is the Founder and Executive Director of Timbuktu Center for Strategic Studies in the Sahel. His research explores topics related to good governance, peace and security, irregular migration, and cultural heritage development.
