About the event

The Brelsford WSU Visitor Center and WSU Viticulture and Enology Program invites all Coug fans and alumni to a WSU Blended Learning wine tasting 3-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 for Homecoming.

The tasting will feature four of the newest wines in the student-made series produced at WSU Tri-Cities, including the 2015 Durif (Petite Sirah), 2016 GSM (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre), 2017 Dry Rosé and 2013 Barbera. WSU Viticulture and Enology Director Thomas Henick-Kling and students in the program will be available to discuss the wines and answer questions.

Tasting tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at the door beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets are limited to one per person and proper identification is required. The tasting includes a 2-oz. pour of each wine.

Tickets also include a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass while supplies last and act as 20 percent off of a single bottle of wine. Participants will also be entered into a raffle for a gift basket featuring a variety of products made by WSU students.

The event is open to all ages. A limited supply of light refreshments will be provided by WSU Dining Services and the visitor center, located at 150 E. Spring St.
