About the event

Co-sponsored by WSU’s Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Gender Identity/Expression Resource Center, the 2020-2021 InQueery Symposium continues the theme of “Queer Abolition” and will be online via Zoom beginning at 4 p.m. featuring student panel presentations followed by keynote speaker Dr. Emily S. Thuma, Assistant Professor of Politics and Law at the University of Washington, Tacoma and Adjunct Professor of Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Thuma’s presentation is entitled “The Queer Politics of Abolitionist Feminism.”
