About the event
FREE FOR WSU STUDENTS — A WSU Common Reading event!
A Literature to Life® Stage Presentation of
FAHRENHEIT 451
By Ray Bradbury
Performed by Rich Orlow
Adapted & Directed by Wynn Handman
A Program of Young Audiences New York
Adapted verbatim from the classic dystopian novel, this solo performance offers a frightening vision of the future, where firemen don’t put out fires, they start them in order to burn books. Bradbury’s imagining of a world awash in information but rejecting critical thought provides a sobering look at our own world, and hope for a better future.
