About the event

Advisors and Instructors, do you advise or teach some students who are feeling academically lost here at WSU?

Does it seem like all their friends know their major, but they still are undecided, or they’re considering a switch, but don’t know where to start?

The Major Exploration Advising Program invites all exploring students to the third-annual MEET YOUR MAJOR FAIR on Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the CUB Junior Ballroom.

This FREE event is specifically designed for undergraduate students who have not chosen a major, are considering changing majors, or would like to add a second major or a minor to their first degree.  All WSU degree programs will be represented by professional advisors or faculty members, and students can talk to them about their programs in an informal environment, get valuable degree and contact info, and more.  Representatives from Study Abroad, the ASCC, the Pre-Law Resource Center, and the Health Professions Student Center also will be at the fair, and ready to talk to students.  Plus, students will have the opportunity to be entered into drawings for great prizes, such as gift cards from the Bookie and from the Crimson & Gray, items and gift cards donated by departments and by Walmart, and lots more.  Raffle tickets will be at advising tables and are free.

And since the fair is during lunch-time, free PIZZA will be available for all students who speak with advisors and take advantage of the opportunities.

All exploring students are welcome, so please encourage your advisees and students to stop by this Thursday, Sept. 20 from 11:00 till 2:00.

Please contact Lee Tatum (lee.tatum@wsu.edu; 509-335-8731) with questions.  Thank you.
