Public forum: Campus climate and inclusion
About the event
The WSU community is invited to join Mary Jo Gonzales, vice president of student affairs, and Victor Villanueva, Regents professor and Writing Program director, to discuss the university’s initiative to create a more welcoming and inclusive campus culture and climate at campuses system-wide. Among the topics to be discussed is the role of the newly created position of associate vice president of community, equity, and inclusive excellence. A national search to fill the position is underway.
WSU President Kirk Schulz announced the initiative in May to renew and expedite the university’s actions to address system and campus climate and culture issues.
