Science Talk Conference 2018
About the event
Registration is now open for Science Talk, a science communication conference with a focus on increasing science’s impact in society through better communication. The conference will be Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2 in Portland, OR.
The conference will include panel talks on hot topic issues in science communication, workshops covering the tools of the trade, and a poster session.
Conference keynote speakers are:
- Michael Lemonick, Scientific American editor
- Keri Kukral, Raw Science TV founder
- Phil Plait, the Bad Astronomer
The early bird registration rate is $250 for professionals and $75 for students and trainees. Rates will go up on Thursday, February 1. Science Talk is sponsored by Washington State University Vancouver, Oregon Health & Science University, and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund.
