About the event

Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with fellow Sacramento & Reno Cougs! Doug Koch, 6-time USA Pickleball National Medalist, will teach the group pickleball basics in this fun two-hour clinic on Saturday, March 18, at the Johnson Ranch Sports Club. Meet the group starting at 11:15 a.m. All paddles and balls will be provided and all levels of play are welcome. Afterwards, it’s off to a local pub for merriment!

All WSU alumni, friends, and fans ages 21+ are welcome to participate. Pickleball space is very limited, so register on the WSU Alumni Association website by Wednesday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific to secure your spot.

Be sure to wear comfortable athletic clothes and shoes. As a special treat, you can purchase an exclusive Sacramento & Reno Cougs Shamrock Shirt to wear to the event! Purchase your shirt(s) HERE before the deadline on Thursday, February 9, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific (link to purchase coming soon!). Your gear will be shipped directly to your home.

PLEASE NOTE During registration, please indicate if you will be available on March 25 should we need to reschedule due to inclement weather. Your registration fee will be refunded should you not be able to attend.
