Starfish Throwers Documentary Screening & Fresh Food Drive
About the event
Come watch this free community screening of Starfish Throwers. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring a fresh food donation to the screening. Backyard Harvest will be present to accept donations and will help distribute all foods donated during the event. In the film, a five-star chef, a twelve-year-old girl, and a retired schoolteacher discover how their individual efforts to feed the poor ignite a movement in the fight against hunger. This event is sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement, Moscow Food Co-op, University of Idaho Sustainability Center, and Backyard Harvest.
