Masks” A Heroine’s Tale

Sponsored by the Allegro Student Organization, the WSU Symphony Orchestra welcomes Mitsuru Kubo, Viola and Matthew Aubin, Guest Conductor to our second concert of the fall semester. Together, they will be performing the West Coast premiere of Jeremy Crosmer’s “Masks: A Heroine’s Tale” for Viola and Orchestra. Dr. Aubin returns to Washington State University for this special concert, where he served as our orchestra’s previous music director! He will also lead the ensemble in a performance of “Mars” and “Jupiter” from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets”.
This concert is open to the public and without charge.
