WSU Blended Learning Holiday Wine Tasting

$10-$30

About the event

Gather friends and family to celebrate the holidays in Cougar style at the WSU Blended Learning Holiday Wine Tasting 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.

This year’s holiday wine tasting will feature three new releases in the WSU Viticulture and Enology Program’s student-made wine series WSU Blended Learning. The wine include two Chardonnays – each featuring a single clone of the wine grape – and a new Cabernet Sauvignon made available for purchase in November.

The tasting will also feature four additional wines from the WSU Blended Learning line, including the Sparkling Brut and Brut Rosé, Dry Riesling and Head-Trained Syrah. Hearty hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages will also be served.

Tickets for the event cost $30 and include a 1-oz. tasting of the seven wines, with three additional 1 oz. pours of your choice from the featured wines and a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the door. Proper identification will be required at the time of ticket purchase and at the door.

Event entry will be offered at a reduced rate of $10 to individuals under 21 or who do not wish to participate in the wine tasting. Attendees will receive a 20 percent discount on their entire WSU Blended Learning wine purchase along with 15 percent off all other Cougar-made products, including Cougar Cheese, WSU Honey and Seasonings, and Crimson Confections. A holiday- themed photo booth will also be up and running with an album of the evening’s festivities posed to the visitor center’s Facebook page.
