The Crimson Bot Brawl is a combat robotics competition featuring 3-pound “beetleweight” robots. These bots will battle it out over an exciting day of matches to determine the ultimate champion! The competitors include many members of WSU’s combat robotics club Crimson Robotics, as well as non-student contenders from the greater PNW area. Come stop by for some destructive fun!

Orthopedic medicine faces significant challenges in treating bone-related diseases such as osteosarcoma, managing bone defects, and combating bacterial infections. This study examines the use of nanoparticle-based therapies, which show promise in enhancing on-site delivery, bioavailability, release kinetics, and efficacy of treatments in bone tissue engineering.

In this Christmas classic, Ebenezer Scrooge hates Christmas and is seen as a greedy selfish man. He is greeted by his former partner Jacob Marley’s ghost on Christmas seven years after his death. Jacob tells Scrooge that he has one chance to avoid the same fate. With that, he will be visited by three spirits and must listen to them all. There are three sprits; the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in the forms of Ebenezer Scrooge that are brought to remind Scrooge of the life he lived and could live. Throughout these three stages, Scrooge is tested and will be threatened to change his ways.

One way to answer this question is by exploring the connections between a fabric and a plant through observing the remnants of the transformation of flax into linen. At the intersection of the arts and biology, visual artist Eugenia Reznik conducted a research and creation residency to discover and delve into these remnants as both a scientific and artistic object.
