Chigozie Obioma is the author of The Fishermen, which was a finalist for the Man Booker prize in 2015, and a winner of four other awards, including an NAACP Image award, the FT/Oppenheimer prize for fiction, and several nominations. The novel, which is being translated in 26 languages, is also being adapted into a stage play. Chigozie was named one of Foreign Policy’s 100 Influential People of 2015.
Real Talk Thursdays are 30-minute Zoom workshops that cover new wellness topics every week with you in mind. Students from all WSU locations are welcome to attend. Each session will be hosted by a mental health professional from Counseling and Psychological Services.
Participatory Asset Mapping is a process where community members collectively create asset maps by identifying and providing information about their own community’s assets on a map, including citizen associations and local institutions.
