In this seminar, Dr. Kristen Johnson, hosted by Dr. Ursula Mazur, discusses how self-assembly within model cooking-emission films influences atmospheric oxidation. Using spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, the study reveals that organized molecular structures slow chemical aging, alter film morphology, and affect the persistence and evolution of organic aerosol particles.
