Join us Friday, November 8th from 12:00pm–1:00pm for a unique tour led by David Janssen Jr., Scholarly Assistant Professor, Department of Art WSU. Hear a teaching artist’s perspective on select works in the current exhibitions, including the work of Corita Kent featured in Your Collection: Celebrating 50 Years. Open discussion among tour participants will be encouraged throughout the tour and will be facilitated by Kristin Becker, Curator of Education & Programs.

Join us Saturday, November 16th for family-friendly activities with Northwest Public Broadcasting from 9-11am. Northwest Public Broadcasting presents Explore Together/Exploremos Juntos. Come celebrate Da Vinci Day! Meet PBS Kids’ Xavier Riddle from Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum and enjoy activities that demonstrate connections between art and STEM.This event promotes LEONARDO da VINCI, the new PBS documentary about Leonardo da Vinci by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns & David McMahon, which will be broadcast November 18–19, 2024.

This biannual event showcases a curated collection of handcrafted ceramics created by WSU Department of Art students, faculty and staff ranging from functional tableware and intricate sculptures to unique collectibles. Organized by the WSU Clay Club, the sale offers students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to explore the creativity of emerging ceramic artists and find distinctive pieces perfect for personal collections or holiday gifts.
