The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites you to a colloquium featuring Simon Blouin, Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Victoria, Canada. Dr. Blouin’s talk, “When stellar evolution takes a break: A 10-billion-year pause in white dwarf cooling” will be held Thursday, October 10th, at 12:10 pm in Webster 11.

Music for Observations: live electronic music under the stars

Music for Observations is a 3-part music series that pairs unusual electronic music with the Jewett Observatory’s open viewings of the night sky on July 13, August 10 and October 12 at 9pm. Music will happen outside on the surrounding hill. The events are free, all-ages and open to the public.
