Implementing mindfulness to find meaning in your career
About the event
Do you remember dreaming of your perfect career? After graduation you landed what you thought was the perfect job! But then, things didn’t go as planned. Now, when you wake up on Monday mornings, you’re not so excited to get to work, you don’t feel connected to the work you’re doing, and you’re looking for how you can make it more meaningful. It’s not too late to make a change.
During this workshop, you will:
- Become clear about what you have to offer the world and have a confident plan for achieving your goals by reflecting on your skills, interests, ideal work environment, and values.
- Learn how your current stressful situation is impacting your mental and physical health, and learn how implementing mindfulness and slowing down will help you make good decisions that lead to a career you love.
- Create an easy-to-follow plan for information gathering, so you gain even more clarity about your next steps.
About Your Facilitator
Kimberly Bilawchuk is passionate about helping you live in alignment with who you are truly meant to be by slowing down to get ahead. She inspires you to let go of the “shoulds” and she helps you to intuitively sort out hidden talents and secret longings that you may not recognize, quickly leading the way to discovering your most significant potential for finding the work you are here to do. She offers individualized support and encouragement to BE who you need to be to land your most rewarding and fulfilling career. Since 2008, Kim has inspired busy young professionals and new college grads, drawing on her corporate HR background, career counseling, yoga, and meditation. Kim holds a BBA from UMass Amherst, an MBA from Boston College, and an MEd from Boston University. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
