Escape the academic grind, engage in thought-provoking discussion, and earn credit towards your EmpowerALL certification by joining our student-led book club. We will meet on Wednesday, April 2nd from 5:00-6:00 PM to discuss April’s book choice: “Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic ” by Alison Bechdel. Open to all WSU Global students, staff, and alumni.

“Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic” by Alison Bechdel is a profoundly touching graphic memoir that explores the complexities of family relationships through rich, visual storytelling. This poignant narrative delves into Bechdel’s childhood and youth in rural Pennsylvania, focusing on her tumultuous relationship with her father—a distant and exacting man who was a high school English teacher, funeral home operator, and closeted gay man.
