GUEST PRESENTERS: Ariane Smith & Amy Denman

DESCRIPTION: Bring your computer and a session PowerPoint that you would like to work on during this session. There will be an hour following this session for Q&A.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  1. Identify common accessibility issues in digital materials, such as lack of heading structure and incorrectly formatted lists.
  2. Apply accessible practices and guidelines to your own work, such as using accessible headings, links, and lists in your digital materials.
  3. Learn how to remediate accessibility issues in various digital formats, such as documents and Powerpoints.

The WSU College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Academy is an inclusive community of educators enhancing their teaching, career development and scholarship. The academy fosters innovative curriculum, teaching, and learning.

Our weekly events are open to all college and WSU faculty, staff, graduate, and professional students.

We also offer educational training and academic career preparation opportunities to graduate students, veterinary residents, and new faculty members across the entire college through workshops, seminars, discussions, and summer programs.
