In Their Shoes Domestic Violence Workshop

About the event

Women and children in poverty are often trapped in abusive situations by a lack of financial resources. Join the YWCA of WSU, WSU’s Women’s Resource Center, and Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse in an interactive workshop and discussion based on true stories of women and domestic violence in Washington state. We’ll discuss the complexity of domestic violence, while looking at specific barriers individuals in abusive relationships face when they are in poverty.
