Learn about WSU’s 2023 Business Plan Competition and meet other students who can help you create a winning team.

What is BPC, is the first opportunity of the 2023 school year to learn about the annual Business Plan Competition. All questions surrounding the BPC will be answered, and students will have the opportunity to meet other students from different backgrounds and majors to help them form a complete team to give them the best chance at success during the competition.

About the Speaker: Marie Mayes, CfE Director

Marie Mayes serves as Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Carson College of Business at Washington State University. In her current role as a leader of WSU’s entrepreneurial efforts, Marie promotes entrepreneurial engagement, scholarship and dialogue across the University.


About CfE: The Center for Entrepreneurship is an innovation resource hub for students; promoting entrepreneurial engagement, scholarship and dialog across the university.

About BPC: The WSU Business Plan Competition (BPC) is organized by the WSU Center for Entrepreneurial Studies to give students from all majors an opportunity to practice entrepreneurship in a real-world setting. The BPC gives students skills, knowledge, and resources to start their own ventures or be entrepreneurial leaders in existing organizations.

What are Bites? BPC Bites are informational events hosted by the Center of Entrepreneurship to better inform, prepare, and promote WSU students about the 2023 Business Plan Competition.
