CAH Spring Seminar Series for First-Generation Grad Students
About the event
The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities (DGPCAH) is organizing its 2025 Spring Seminar Series for the First-Generation Graduate Students at WSU. The objective of this series is to provide First-Gen grad students and/or First-Gen international grad students (international students who are first in their families to attend college or international students who are first in their families to come to US to attend college) with a space where they can share the challenges that they are facing in graduate school.
We are planning to meet 2 times during the Spring semester for 2-hour informal discussions with our panel of facilitators. These meetings will take place 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday, March 21 and Friday, March 28 in the Bundy Reading Room, Avery Hall. We will also provide dinner to all the participants. Please note that there is NO COST for participating in this series.
The First-Gen graduate students and/or First-Gen international graduate students who would like to participate in this seminar series, need to complete this Qualtrics Survey by Monday, March 10, 2025. For any questions, we can be reached at arts.humanities@wsu.edu.
This seminar series is open to all first-gen students at WSU Pullman irrespective of their disciplines. Please share this with your graduate students and colleagues.
