About the event

Would your resume get you hired? Get your resume reviewed by recruiters and representatives attending the Career Expo! Join us for this welcoming, café-style environment. This is a great chance to refine your resume and get insider tips from professionals who know what employers look for.

What to expect:

  • Casual drop-in format – no appointment is needed, just drop in
  • Quick 10–15-minute resume review sessions with a recruiter, representative, or career professional
  • Refreshments provided while you wait
  • You can view the up-to-date list of companies participating in resume reviews through the Handshake event

What to bring:

  • Bring a copy of your resume (printed or digital)

Suggested attire:

  • Casual dress is welcome—just come as you are!

Need help prepping? We’ve got you!

  • Free printing offered in the ASCC (Lighty 180) if you want to bring a paper resume (digital works too!)
  • Help building or editing your resume is available! Meet with one of our career advisors by booking an appointment on Handshake, or coming to drop-in hours Mon-Fri 2-4pm (Lighty 180)

We want to ensure you can fully participate in the event. Please request alternate presentation formats, sign language interpreters, and other reasonable accommodations at least five (5) days in advance of the event via email to (studentjobs@wsu.edu).

From resume reviews with recruiters to interview strategies and salary negotiation tips, this series covers a wide range of topics to help Cougs confidently take the next step in their career journey.
