About the event

Jeremy Frey is a 2013 Graduate from WSU Bremerton in Mechanical Engineering. Jeremy started his engineering career at a small aerospace company as a development engineer, focused on designing aerospace hardware. Shortly after, he transitioned to a mechanical engineering position with an engineering consultant firm designing chemical ventilation, heat exchangers, and chemical tank processes. In 2014 he left for Garmin International where he has served as an Aircraft Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, and currently serving as a Senior Aircraft systems Engineer in the roll of Project Manager for a new product.

This presentation is part of a semester-long seminar on the “soft”, but hard to learn, professional skills that are essential to a successful engineering career. The speakers are engineers and other members of Kitsap technology firms. Topics that will be covered in the seminar include project management, communication, ethics, process safety, divergent thinking, careers in large engineering firms, and working for global engineering firms.
