Coding interview prep

About the event

Despite your opinion on how effective coding interviews are in determining your potential value as an employee, the fact of the matter is that they remain a staple for technical recruiters in determining whether or not they want to hire you. That means that it’s in your best interest to prepare as much as possible in order to land that tech internship or job of your dreams!

The officers of the ACM want to make this as easy as possible for you. Starting Tuesday, September 11, we’ll be renting Spark 339 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. every other week in order to give you all a dedicated space to practice. Plenty of whiteboards will be available, but please bring your laptops as well; we’ll be using HackerRank, LeetCode, GeeksForGeeks, etc. We’ll bring whiteboard markers, Cracking the Coding Interview, and our own experience with technical interviews.

Lastly, it is important to emphasize that this will be a very chill time to practice and ask questions. There will be very little structure. Stay for as little or as long as you want. If we receive enough interest, we’ll consider buying pizza for each session.
We hope to see a lot of you here!
