Spokane, WA 99201
Free to attend Registration

About the event

Join fellow Greater Inland Empire Cougs for a special partnership with Spokane Riverkeeper and help clean up the Spokane River on Earth Day. Riverkeeper is hosting its first and largest public river cleanup of the year, and we want to show up to participate!

Meet the group at People’s Park, west of downtown Spokane on Riverside Avenue. Riverkeeper will provide gloves and bags. Post-cleanup, join us for refreshments and Coug camaraderie at Brickwest Brewing Co.

All WSU alums, students, friends, and fans are welcome to participate in this important initiative. Don’t forget to wear solid walking shoes, as well as your Coug gear so we can easily spot you!

Register to attend by Friday, April 21, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific on both the WSU Alumni Association website as well as the Spokane Riverkeeper website. We’ll see you there!

Registration

  1. Sign up to volunteer through Spokane Riverkeeper on their website HERE.
  2. In addition, please follow the crimson registration button above to let the WSU Alumni Association know you will be attending. The WSUAA can then coordinate with Spokane Riverkeeper to provide Cougs with an assigned location so we can work together.
