About the event
100 for Gunther’s 100th – Celebrating Gunther Schuller’s Centennial 2025 is a project to foster and celebrate Schuller’s creative work, musical worldview, and inspirational legacy – with those who loved his work, and with the next generation. The WSU School of Music faculty are excited to participate as one of the concerts in this series, and will be presenting solo and chamber music for winds and percussion. The recital will feature the Solstice Wind Quintet, as well as music for solo marimba, horn, and oboe.
