Faculty Artist Series: Angela Grammatas, art & Aaron Hill, saxophone
About the event
AMALGAMATION is an interdisciplinary art project began by saxophonist Aaron Hill and visual artist Angela Grammatas. This project seeks to blend music and painting in simultaneous improvisation, with the goal of creating dialogue across fundamentally different mediums. The performance creates a multi-sensory experience that captures the essence of both disciplines, emphasizing the interplay between sound and visual art, and exploring how each medium can influence and inspire the other in real-time.
There will be a reception on October 10th from 3:00–4:00 PM in the Fine Arts foyer. Come join us!
Angela’s participation is being funded by Allegro.
