Join us for a celebration of Indigenous cuisine at Hillside Café! Hosted by Dining Services and Native American Programs, enjoy a menu inspired by traditional foods of the Americas, featuring dishes like cedar-braised bison short rib, wild salmon, and savory blue corn cake. Learn about the rich history and cultural significance of these foods, including the sacred “First Foods” such as salmon, which hold a special place in the traditions of local Tribes. This event highlights the importance of whole, local, and healthy foods, and aims to bring back traditional food knowledge that has been passed down through generations.
