InQueery Symposium featuring Student Panels and Keynote by Dr. Sa’ed Ashtan

The Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) and the LGBTQ+ Center are co-sponsors of the 2024 InQueery Symposium which will be held virtually 4–7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 via Zoom link https://wsu.zoom.us/j/93078876206. The theme is “’No Pride in Genocide’: Queer Politics in the Wake of Palestine” and will feature concurrent student panels from 4–5:45 p.m. followed by keynote speaker Dr. Sa’ed Atshan, an Associate Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies and Anthropology at Swarthmore College, who will deliver the keynote lecture “Queer Palestine and the Empire of Critique” from 6–7 p.m. Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to attend this online event.
