Join us to discuss a series of interprofessional opioid education sessions created by a WSU Spokane team that have trained 1500+ health professions students on providing collaborative care to a standardized patient/video patient case with chronic pain.  We will discuss the benefits and challenges of interprofessional education (IPE) and how the move to a virtual platform through Zoom helped mitigate hurdles. In addition, we will share strategies for managing the complex logistics of virtual IPE sessions involving health professions students from multiple institutions and standardized patients. We will also discuss potential IPE collaborations involving veterinary medicine students.
