About the event
Join us for an exclusive industry tour of the King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) and gain insight into careers in environmental services, engineering, and wastewater management! This is a unique opportunity for WSU students to explore WTD’s operations, engage with professionals in the field, and learn about internship and career opportunities.
Open to ALL majors (see attachment for example of possible rolls)
Agenda:
- 11:15 AM – 11:30 AM (Arrival)
- 11:30 AM – 11:45 AM (Event Intro from WTD Workforce Development Staff)
- 11:45 AM – 1:30 PM (Treatment Plant Tour for WSU Students and staff)
- 1:30 PM – 1:45 PM (Transition Break)
- 1:45 PM – 2:30 PM (Panel Discussion and Late Lunch)
- 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM (Networking)
Please note all participants must arrange their own transportation to the facility.
