About the event

Please join us for a presentation by Dr. Sasi Pillay and Tom Ambrosi. Their presentation will be on Information Technology Services and security at WSU today.

Dr. Pillay serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at WSU. In this role, he oversees the computing infrastructure of foundational technologies and research computing. He is also responsible for telecommunications, local area and wide area networking and IT security.

Tom Ambrosi serves as Chief Information Security Officer for ITS. He has over 28 years of experience in networking and information security spanning federal government, private industry, and higher education applications. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining a university-wide Information Security and Privacy program. He helps to facilitate information security and privacy governance, implementing policies and best practices to appropriately safeguard WSU information assets and institutional data, and managing information security and privacy risk.
