About the event

Please join us for a presentation by Dr. Arshad Alfoqaha of IBM Corporation. His talk with be on Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) methodologies, and predictive engineering and statistical modeling methods that were applied to develop robust and reliable products at IBM and Medtronic.

At IBM, developing reliable and robust designs of supercomputers is critical to IBM’s vision. At Medtronic, the worldwide leading medical device company, developing reliable and robust products are critical to save patients’ lives. Design for Six Sigma (DFSS/DRM) and predictive engineering methods and statistical modeling were implemented to develop a new design of the leadless pacemaker (Micra).

Meet the speaker before the seminar in ETRL room 119 from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. We look forward to having you join us!
