Seminar: Water Across the Columbia Plateau

About the event

Drawing on early journals, letters, tribal oral accounts, and period artwork, this presentation attempts to visualize riparian and wetland habitats in eastern Washington around the period of contact. Special attention will be paid to the relationship of people and water in a dry landscape.
