Stop Using AI: From Efficiency to Effectiveness Through Collaboration
WSU System-wide
About the event
Most approaches to AI focus on automation, aiming to get machines to perform our tedious tasks more quickly. However, this efficiency mindset traps us into doing more of the same, instead of questioning whether we’re doing the right things at all. This workshop series offers a fundamental shift: viewing AI not just as a tool to use, but as a collaborator to work with. When we transition from asking “How can AI make me faster?” to “What can we achieve together that neither of us could do alone?” we open up real possibilities for effectiveness rather than just productivity. Join us to discover what true AI collaboration looks like in practice and why it matters more than speed.
