About the event

Student Affairs, with the help of GPSA, is hosting two days of events to help you get over your winter blues! Join us on Jan. 28 for Mood for A Better Mood! and on Jan. 29 for Self-Care through Mindfulness & Creative Expression.

Move for a Better Mood!
Tuesday, January 28, 5-8 p.m., Student Recreation Center

People who exercise feel more energetic, sleep better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about themselves and their lives. Exercise relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, boosts your overall mood and can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, and ADHD. No matter your age or fitness level, you can learn to use exercise as a powerful tool to feel better. Try out some activities at the SRC to boost your mood and build habits to keep you feeling good all semester long!

Workshop 1: Boulder Buster

Rock climbing has been shown to enhance mood and overall wellbeing. Join Climbing Wall staff for an intro to bouldering, or climbing to low heights without a harness or rope.
