Women In STEM Week: Panel Discussion
About the event
STEM Panel Discussion followed by a “Dinner with an Engineer/Scientist.” The event will open with a networking session from 4:30-5 p.m., followed by the panel discussion, 5-6 p.m. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Noel Schulz and LiveStream broadcast by the Global Campus.
The panelists include:
- Tiffany Ludka-Gaulke, MD, Class of 2004, Honors, Neuroscience
- K. D. Joshi, PhD, Professor and Chair, Carson College of Business, Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship
- Julie Averill, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, lululemon athlectica, inc, and Washington STEM Board Member
- Leen Kawas, PhD, CEO & President, M3 Biotechnology, WSU alumna
- Tracy Roberts, M.S., Mission Support Alliance, Electrical Engineer
A sponsored dinner called, “Dinner with an Engineer/Scientist,” will follow the panel discussion, 6-8 p.m., CUB Ballroom. Students will enjoy a meal and networking with scientists and engineers from the sponsoring companies. Inspirational 1-2 minute video vignettes of alumni women in STEM careers will be shown throughout the dinner.
