About the event

Washington State University’s School of Design and Construction (SDC) in the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture (VCEA) is excited to celebrate the opening of a new industry-supported learning space for our Construction Management students!

You’re invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 22, at 2:30 p.m.

The newly renovated Prime Electric and MacDonald-Miller Classroom in Construction Management (Carpenter Hall 212, Pullman campus) will serve as a dedicated hub for hands-on learning, collaborative project work, and advanced construction technology education.

This space was made possible through major investment and project leadership from PRIME, with additional support from MacDonald‑Miller—both long-time champions of construction education at WSU. Their partnership strengthens a program already known for exceptional industry connections and near-perfect job placement, with many students securing offers long before graduation.

Come celebrate this milestone with us! The event will feature a ribbon-cutting, remarks, and light refreshments as we recognize the collaboration that brought this space to life and look ahead to the opportunities it will create for students, faculty, and industry alike.
