For this month’s open mic the three finalists for the Campus Civic Poet Award have been invited to be featured readers. The CCP Award is offered by the English Department in partnership with the MLK Program and recognizes a student’s commitment to poetry and civic engagement. The English Department open mic meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. All are invited to read and/or share work.

Do your part and donate to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Food Drive on January 16 from noon-6:00 p.m. All food donations collected during the drive will be split between the Community Action Center and the Cougar Food Pantry. The food drive is made possible by the Center for Civic Engagement in celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service.
