Paul Rucker is a visual artist, composer, and musician who combines media, often integrating live performance, sound, original compositions, and visual art.
The Palouse Trio, comprised of WSU School of Music faculty members Meredith Arksey, violin, Ruth Boden, cello and Jeffrey Savage, piano, will be joined by Sophia Tegart, flute, for an evening of delightful chamber music.
This concert is open to the public and without charge.
Yasinitsky, recent winner of the American Prize for Musical Composition, has an international reputation as a composer and saxophonist. The program will feature compositions by Yasinitsky scored for small jazz ensembles including Gator Tail, Crosscurrent and the YAZZ band.

SWMEA (South West Music Educators Association) presents the annual Bill Bolick Jazz Night. Several area middle school and high school bands will perform along with the SWMEA Honor Jazz Band directed by Dr. Greg Yasinitsky and the WSU Jazz Band directed by Brian Ward.
The Jazz Forum provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and guest artists to perform for the public in an informal setting.
In an evening that will be nothing short of exciting, the program will feature Roma-Influenced pieces by Sarasate and Cossetto, as well as pieces by Stravinsky, Debussy and Weber.
